My greatest responsibility
You were my knight in shining armor,my favorite person,
my angel in disguise.
You were my dream come true,
my fantasy meets reality,
my apple of the eye.
Right from the start,
I knew I'd love you.
And I did, no matter how hard
I tried no to.
Somewhere along the way,
I knew it'd hurt.
And again, it did.
I saw it coming, but I didn't mind.
I knew the love will come with pain
and I am ready, I know I am.
But regardless of the preparation,
it still stings,
it still tears me up inside.
But regardless of the pain,
I still love you.
Loving you is a responsibility,
and you, my love,
is my greatest one.
